New Beginnings

I figured I might as well record the classes I’m taking this semester, just cuz I’m actually taking the coolest class EVER. And I want to compare how I feel about the courses now and then later.

• Diff EQ {ugh. Physicists use it but applied math throws me off. Not like actual physicists actually know how to do the real math…}
• Intro to CS {thought I would like it more. Java seems so useless right now. Last java class I’ll take I suppose. Matlab soon.}
• Asian American Women’s Experience {Still my last priority class…it’s humanities so whatever. I guess I enjoy learning about my own race? And how we are oppressed and then complaining about it? But it reminds me how little I know about my own people’s history}
• BIOMECHANICS & ANATOMY {Yes the work load is HUGE. Weekly exams and all, but I get to finally take a course with a professor whose research is friggin amazing! The more in-depth I get into this course, the more I realize I want to do biomechanical engineering. I also feel flattered that the notoriously nit-picky professor actually approves of me. Plus, cadaver dissections?! THUGGIN’!}

Being in college is so strange sometimes. The culture of partying and hooking up is so much more complicated than it should be. The only reason why I’m ranting is because the guy that I “hooked up with” (whatever that means anyway…it’s more like going back to his room and talking in my opinion) completely ignored me as I passed by him because I forgot to message him back in time about hanging out the following weekend. What so we can’t be friends now? Is that what it is? Grow a pair and be an adult. It’s kind of a small school so you can’t avoid me! I will continue to say hi to you until you feel so awkward that you have to take a different route to class. Done deal.
